On January 30, 2025, at 11:08 p.m., Northwest Patrol Officers responded to 1812 Reservoir Road in reference to an assist medical call for service. When officers arrived, they discovered 46-year-old Carla Anderson deceased from an apparent gunshot wound. The scene was secured and LRPD Homicide Detectives were notified and responded. Later, the Pulaski County Coroner transported the deceased body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and the next of kin was notified.

Homicide Detectives along with the Crime Scene Search Unit were notified and responded. A preliminary investigation began as detectives canvassed the area, looked for surveillance video, and spoke with witnesses. This investigation is ongoing and occurred in the Northwest Division.

Update: Jerry Bowser Jr., 51, of Little Rock, has been arrested and charged with Capital Murder.
