Meet the Chief People Officer

Sheridan Richards brings over 15 years of values driven leadership experience to the City, with time spent in the corporate, non-profit and government sectors. As the Chief People Officer, she is responsible for overseeing the activities and operations of the Human Resources Department that attract, develop and retain the best talent in our capital city. She oversees benefits administration, civil service, classification & compensation, labor & employee relations, labor contract negotiations and administration, organizational development, recruitment and selection. Sheridan implements and monitors a comprehensive human resources administration system while ensuring compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
