Meet the Director

Jon started with the City Of Little Rock in April 2005 in the Civil Engineering Division as Civil Engineer III - Public Projects.  He was promoted to Assistant Director of Public Works in March 2012, providing oversight for the Civil Engineering and Operations Divisions of Public Works.  In November of 2013, Jon was promoted to Director of Public Works.

Jon graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology from the University of Arkansas in 1992, and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 1997.  Jon is a Registered Professional Engineer in the state of Arkansas.

Jon has served in several associations and on several committees, notably:  President of the Arkansas Chapter of American Public Works Association as well as the being the Arkansas Delegate for the national American Public Works Association, and President for Little Rock Engineers Club.  He is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Jon and his wife Ashley live in Little Rock.
