Rock Region Metropolitan Transit Authority Board of Directors

The Rock Region Metropolitan Transit Authority Board of Directors was created by Arkansas Code Annotated 14-334-107 (See Resolutions No. 7567 & No. 7627). Its twelve (12) members serve four (4)-year terms. (See first amendment to Interlocal Agreement of July 31, 1990) WF-909-A. The duties of the board are to manage and control the Rock Region Metropolitan Transit Authority, its property, operation, business and affairs. Members are appointed by participating governmental entities as follows: five (5) members selected by the Little Rock City Board of Directors, three (3) members selected by the North Little Rock Mayor, two (2) members selected by the Pulaski County Judge, Maumelle Board of Directors and the Sherwood Mayor.

The Rock Region Metropolitan Transit Authority Board of Directors meets the third Tuesday of each month at noon in the Rock Region Metropolitan Transit Authority Training Room, 901 Maple Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
