Andrea Hogan Lewis

Ward 6

Andrea Hogan Lewis serves as the Assistant Vice President and CRA Officer of First Security Bank.  She is very active in identifying credit and services needs within the community and emphasizing the importance of financial literacy.  Andrea has a passion of introducing the importance of saving money at an early age and spreading financial literacy across our local school districts, nonprofit organizations, and communities.  In 2017, she spearheaded First Security Bank’s first in-school mock bank at Stephens Elementary and currently there are two more located at JA Fair K8 Prep School and Booker T. Washington Elementary; all within the Little Rock School District totaling a little over $40,000!  Andrea finds it very rewarding to educate our youth on the basics of banking, customer service, and financial literacy. 

Andrea is an Ambassador for the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce, a board member of Our House, Volunteers in Public Schools, Economics AR, a member of the Friends of Reading Advisory Board for AR Kids Read and a strong advocate for the AR Foodbank.  Andrea is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc, and she is now our newly elected City Director of Ward 6.

Andrea grew up in Turrell, AR and is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She obtained her Masters in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and she’s a certified financial education instructor.  She’s an entrepreneur with her own apparel line named “Wash & Go.”, in which she uses to encourage women of color to wear and style their naturally textured hair.  Andrea is married to Marcus Lewis, Owner of M-Lew Clothing, which is most popular for its custom hand painted apparel and neck ties featured in numerous art museums across the US, and together, they have three children:  Hogan, Saniya and Zari. 

She and her family are members of 2^nd Baptist Church under the leadership of Senior Pastor Dr. Maurice Watson.
