LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Nov. 17, 2015) – The City of Little Rock saw severe weather in the form of flash floods Wednesday, leading to some road closures amid reports of flooding and downed trees.
Public Works has identified overnight road closures at Boyle Park and Kanis Park.
Five additional crews were staying late Tuesday night to address any further flooding issues, with two of those crews staying on call overnight.
Yard waste collections that were scheduled for Wednesday will be suspended so that Solid Waste crews can focus on garbage collection. A decision when to resume yard waste collections will be made at a later time.
Citizens can report issues of flooding, downed trees, or missed garbage pickup by calling 311 or visiting the revamped 311 website at https://www.littlerock.gov/residents/citizen-services-helpful-numbers/3-1-1-synopsis/.
