What: President Bill Clinton at NUSA Conference
When: Friday, May 28, 2010 – 11:00 a.m.
Where: Statehouse Convention Center – Wally Allen Ballroom
President Bill Clinton will speak at the Neighborhoods, USA (NUSA) conference on Friday, May 28th at 11:00 a.m. President Clinton will provide the keynote address during the Neighborhood of the Year Awards in the Wally Allen Ballroom at the Statehouse Convention Center.
The organizational mission of NUSA has, since its inception in 1975, been to build and strengthen neighborhood associations and to promote productive communications and collaborations between those associations and both the public and private sectors. Each year NUSA holds a conference to give attendees an opportunity to engage in neighborhood advocacy as well as build relationships with fellow advocates. Workshops this year include those given by FEMA, HUD, City Year, the William J. Clinton Foundation and the National Park Service.
Members of the media who plan to attend need to RSVP to mmatthews@littlerock.gov in order for adequate space to be made available.
