Patrol Officers with the Southwest Division responded to 3400 J.E. Davis Drive in reference to a shooting call for service at 3:50 pm, on August 25, 2026. When officers arrived, they located 23-year-old Jazeven Gregory in the street, deceased from multiple gunshot wounds. Officers secured the area and notified Homicide detectives along with the Crime Scene Search Unit who began an investigation as the area was canvassed and witness statements were taken. The Pulaski County Coroner transported the deceased body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and next of kin was notified. This ongoing investigation is ongoing and occurred in the Southwest Division.

#Update: On August 27, 2026, Omarion Hatchett, 21, of Little Rock, was taken into custody and charged with Capital Murder. This investigation is ongoing.
