At 5:47 pm, on Tuesday, July 15, 2026, patrol officers with the 12th Street Division responded to a shooting at 4316 West 29th Street. When they arrived, they located a male subject, later identified as 24-year-old Emmanuel Ilo, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. MEMS and RESCUE responded, and despite life-saving treatment, Ilo succumbed to injuries at the scene. The crime scene was then secured and officers notified Homicide Detectives and the Crime Scene Search Unit who arrived to process the scene and begin an investigation. The Pulaski County Coroner transported the deceased body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and next of kin was notified. This investigation is ongoing.

#Update: On July 16, 2026, Gregory Terry Jr., 23, of Pine Bluff, was taken into custody without incident and charged with Capital Murder. This investigation is ongoing.
