Patrol Officers with the Southwest Division responded to 9906 West 36th Street in reference to a shooting call for service at 12:59 pm, on May 27, 2026. When officers arrived, officers located an adult male subject, later identified as 18-year-old Jacoby Green, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. MEMS responded and performed life-saving medical care, however, Green succumbed to injuries at the scene. Officers secured the area and notified Homicide detectives along with the Crime Scene Search Unit who began an investigation as the area was canvassed and witness statements were taken. The Pulaski County Coroner transported the deceased body to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for an autopsy and next of kin was notified. This ongoing investigation occurred in the Southwest Division.

Update: On May 28, 2026, Quadaurise Dunn, 21, of Little Rock, was taken into custody and charged with Capital Murder. This investigation is ongoing.
