Registration for the 2024 Fall After-School Program Opens on August 1st

The Star Student After-School Program provides a structured, engaging, and safe environment for students to complete homework, participate in arts and crafts, enjoy sports, go on field trips, and socialize with peers. Each month, participants have the chance to be recognized as the "Star of the Month" for their outstanding participation in all activities and sports.

Program Highlights:

  • Monthly Recognition: Community center staff will select one outstanding participant each month from September to May as the "Star of the Month."
  • End-of-Year Banquet: All monthly stars will be honored at a banquet at the end of the school year, where the "Star Student of the Year" will be announced.

Details:

  • Grades: Kindergarten – 5th Grade
  • Days: Monday – Friday
  • Time: 2:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
  • Fee: $25.00 per month

Registration Fee

  • First Semester: $100.00 (Save $25 when paid in full by August 1st)
  • Second Semester: $125.00 (Save $25 when paid in full by January 2nd)

 

Registration Process

Parents registering youth for the Star Student After-School Program may register online with credit and/or debit payments beginning August 1, 2024.

A. Each site is allocated a designated number of participants; once a site reaches its capacity, parents/guardians may choose another location online to register.

Q. If I have more than one child, how will I register each of them for the program?
A. Parents/Guardians can register an additional child in the same household during the online registration process.

Q. Do I have to create a username and password?
A. No

Q. I do not use computers, so what do I do?
A. The online registration process is very simple and user-friendly. Visit you local community center if you require assistance.

Q. When can I register?
A. Beginning August 1, our ActiveNet site will be available for registration until each location has met capacity.

Q. What do I need to register online?
A. General information for participant and parent/guardian, medical information (doctor name/telephone), emergency contact information (name/telephone), age, and date of birth of participant.
