Fire-Damaged Pool Now Ready for Public Use
WHAT:
The indoor pool at the Jim Dailey Fitness & Aquatic Center will re-open after being closed for months due to reconstruction. The City of Little Rock and Little Rock Parks & Recreation are ready to welcome members and guests back. The pool has been closed since April after a fire damaged the facility.
To celebrate the occasion, brunch, music, water games, canon ball contests and door prizes will be available. Attendees can also enjoy free Aqua Zumba classes and swim lessons. Additionally, the Central Arkansas Swim club will hold a public practice during the celebration.
More than 50,000 patrons use the Jim Dailey Fitness and Aquatic Center’s pool each year.
