LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (Nov. 28, 2016) – Officials from the City of Little Rock will present the proposed 2017 budget to the public in a series of meetings to begin Monday, Dec. 5.
The public budget presentation times and locations are as follows:
- Monday, Dec. 5, at 6:30 p.m. – Southwest Community Center, 6401 Baseline Road
- Wednesday, Dec. 7, at 6 p.m. - The Centre at University Park, 6401 West 12th St.
- Tuesday, Dec. 13, at 4 p.m. - Little Rock City Hall, 500 West Markham (Board of Directors agenda meeting)
The proposed 2017 budget would, among other recommendations, maintain increased funding to fill all vacant police officer and 911 call-taker positions as well as provide for the annual fleet replacement allocation and Jericho Way Day Resource Center.
