What is the digital divide?
The digital divide is the gap between individuals and communities when it comes to the internet, computers, and other forms of modern information and communication technology. The digital divide also refers to how well people are able to operate and navigate these systems.
Why digital skills are important and matter to the City of Little Rock?
One of the theme’s for the City of Little Rock is Community Driven Digital Futures, and Let’s Get Digital is a step in the right direction to make that theme an accomplished goal. The city of Little Rock is doing well when it comes to having internet access, but it lacks pertaining to access in private residents leading to a lack in digital skills Having the digital skills can positively influence areas such as education and income. It can make one a better applicant all while establishing a sense of empowerment and independence.
How does Let’s Digital work?
Let’s Get Digital is a community resource designed to make learning digital skills simple, accessible, and helpful.
We offer a variety of ways to learn, including:
- Self-guided courses
- Helpful handouts
- In-person classes
- One-on-one support
- Monthly calendars with events and what’s offered for that month
Whether you’re just getting started or looking to sharpen your skills, we’re here to help—especially adults and seniors, though everyone is welcome!

If you would like to participate in Let’s Get Digital and do not have a device, we have laptops available. We do suggest to bring your own devices if you have them.
