LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Fourteen participants in the Kauffman FastTrac ® GrowthVenture ™ program who began classes in September will be graduating Monday, Dec. 14, at the Willie Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center.
The group was the inaugural class of the new course, which focuses on helping existing entrepreneurs grow their businesses. Key areas of emphasis included:
- Budgeting
- Sales strategies
- Management team roles
- Operational systems
- Business plan implementation
The City of Little Rock’s Small Business Development Office partnered with the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center for the course. Kauffman FastTrac is a leading global provider of entrepreneurship education, providing more than 350,000 entrepreneurs with the resources to grow their businesses.
The course for aspiring entrepreneurs will start in February.
