Zoo to Announce New Haunted Garden, LRSD Discount Wednesday

Press Announcement to be Hosted at MLK Elementary School Garden

Who:                           Zoo staff, 5th Grade students Keith Bates and Kiersten Bynum from Martin Luther King Elementary School

What:                         Zoo staff and MLK students will announce the new Haunted Garden attraction for this year’s Boo at the Zoo event scheduled for Oct. 19-21 and 26-31 and will also announce a special discount for all Little Rock School District students for Boo at the Zoo.

Where:                       MLK Elementary School Garden, 905 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street, Little Rock, AR

Background:               Boo at the Zoo is the Little Rock Zoo’s annual Halloween festival and is now the largest Halloween festival in the state. This year’s event will be hosted October 19-21 and 26-31 with a special adults-only preview night on Oct. 18.  Boo at the Zoo will feature a new Haunted Garden attraction for the first time this year along with other attractions and rides such as the haunted house, haunted train, and Frankenstein’s Dance Party.
