LITTLE ROCK – City of Little Rock offices will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27, because of winter weather conditions, and the regularly scheduled Little Rock Board of Directors agenda-setting session will be held virtually.
The Board will meet virtually at 4 p.m. Tuesday. Residents may view the meeting on the City’s Facebook and YouTube channels or on LRTV (Channel 11 on Comcast and U-Verse).
With the City’s inclement weather policy in place, offices are closed except for essential and emergency services.
Public Works crews remain focused on treating and clearing roads, working around the clock on the City’s nine designated snow routes. Because some roads remain treacherous, residents are asked to remain indoors and off the streets unless it is absolutely necessary.
The City’s residential trash and WR recycling services are canceled for Tuesday. Residents whose collections are missed because of dangerous road conditions may place any additional bags curbside on their next collection days. Additional recyclable materials should be placed in cardboard boxes adjacent to recycling carts.
