The Commission on Children, Youth, and Families envisions a city that respects and supports The Little Rock Civil Service Commission will be meeting Thursday, April 2, 2026, in Room 207 at the Willie Hinton Center.
The Civil Service Commission meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month as long as there is business to discuss. Meetings begin at 8:30 a.m. and conclude no later than 3:30 p.m. depending on the agenda.

Notice of Public Hearing
Pursuant to the Ark. Ann. Code Sec. 14-51-301 (b)(12) supp. 1995, the Little Rock Civil Service Commission hereby notifies any and all interested persons that a public hearing will be held to approve changes to the Police Promotion Procedure Guidelines for Sergeant, Lieutenant, and Major. Copies of the proposed changes will be available on Monday, March 9, 2026. Please email hradministration@littlerock.gov to request an electronic copy. The hearing will be held at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026, in Room 207 at the Willie Hinton Neighborhood Resource Center (3805 W. 12th St, Little Rock, AR 72204). Oral comments may be made at the above-referenced meeting. Written comments must be submitted to the Commission in care of the Human Resources Department at least 7 days prior to the hearing via the aforementioned email address or by standard mail at the address below.
