Meriwether Park

Meriwether Park is a welcoming neighborhood park nestled within a residential subdivision in west Little Rock. With its open green space and family-friendly setting, the park provides nearby residents with a convenient spot for play, leisure, and community connection.

History

The park site was acquired in 1967 and developed between 1973 and 1974 with principal funding support from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Originally called Hall Cove Park, the space was later renamed in honor of John T. Meriwether, a former Little Rock City Manager.
