Butler Park

Butler Park is a 6.7 acre park in an active neighborhood in west Little Rock, offering recreation and gathering spaces shaded by mature trees. Its convenient location near Rodney Parham Road makes it a popular spot for families and community members to enjoy sports, play, and picnics.

History

The land for Butler Park was donated to the City of Little Rock by Mr. and Mrs. Richard C. Butler. Improvements began in 1968 with the addition of a ballfield and picnic areas, establishing the park as a neighborhood hub.

What was once a rural setting has since transformed due to rapid urban development along Rodney Parham Road. Despite the growth around it, Butler Park remains a welcoming green space for the surrounding community.
