History

Prospect Terrace Park is located within the Prospect Terrace Historic District, one of Little Rock’s earliest planned residential neighborhoods. Developed beginning in 1903 by the Prospect Realty Company, the neighborhood was designed to take advantage of the area’s elevated terrain, curving streets, and scenic views overlooking downtown Little Rock. The park was established as a neighborhood green space to serve nearby residents and has remained an important community gathering place for more than a century.

Today, the park continues to provide a neighborhood retreat while preserving the character of one of Little Rock’s most historically significant residential districts. Its playground, open lawn, and shaded setting make it a popular destination for families and residents within walking distance.
