East End Park

East End Park serves as a neighborhood gathering place centered around the East Little Rock Community Center. The park offers a variety of recreational amenities, including basketball courts, open green space, and picnic areas that support youth programs, community events, sports, and everyday outdoor recreation. Together with the community center, the park provides an inviting space where residents of all ages can stay active and connect with neighbors.

History

The park is part of the Nathaniel W. Hill Community Complex, which has served East Little Rock for decades as a center for recreation, athletics, and neighborhood services. Over the years, the complex has expanded to include nearly 29,000 square feet of indoor recreation space surrounded by 26 acres of outdoor amenities, creating one of the city’s largest community recreation campuses.

Today, the complex serves as a hub for Little Rock Parks & Recreation programs, youth athletics, community events, and partnerships with local organizations. It is home to multiple school athletic programs, the Little Rock Marathon office, and a community-built skate park, continuing its longstanding role as a gathering place for residents of East Little Rock
