Granite Heights Park

Butler Park is a 6.7 acre park in an active neighborhood in west Little Rock, offering recreation and gathering spaces shaded by mature trees. Its convenient location near Rodney Parham Road makes it a popular spot for families and community members to enjoy sports, play, and picnics.

History

The park was developed in 1967 using funds from a 1966 bond issue, bringing new recreational opportunities to the growing community. Its name pays tribute to Granite Mountain, the prominent natural landmark that defines the surrounding area and connects the park to the neighborhood’s identity.
