Proclamations are issued to recognize matters of local, regional, or national significance, typically honoring organizations or events based in, or taking place within, the City of Little Rock.

These proclamations are ceremonial in nature and do not carry legislative or legal authority. They are intended to promote unity and inclusivity, celebrating the diversity that strengthens our community. Proclamations must remain neutral and may not endorse political, ideological, or religious viewpoints, nor support individual beliefs. Additionally, proclamations may not be used for advertising or commercial purposes without prior written consent from the Mayor’s Office.
