*The museum will be closed on Mondays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.*

From Rivermarket
From the Rivermarket / Downtown area, travel south on Main Street. Turn left on 9th Street and follow until you come to MacArthur Park on your right.
From airport
Exit the airport on Airport Road, bearing right onto E. Roosevelt Road. Keep right and merge onto Bond Street. Turn left onto 9th Street until you come to MacArthur Park on your left, after crossing over I-30.
From I-30
Take the 9th Street exit and travel west on 9th Street until you come to MacArthur Park, which will be on your left.
Tours
Individual
Touring the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History is self-guided. Using the gallery guide provided by a museum staff member upon entrance into the museum, visitors are free to explore the museum at their own leisure. Download the guide before your visit.
The MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History uses STQRY to enhance self-guided tours.
Groups
Groups are welcome to visit the museum, and there is no cost to do so. If a group desires to have a museum official act as a tour guide, or docent, groups need to make a reservation for this service. To reserve a tour guide, please contact us.
Schools
The museum offers guided and self-guided tours. The museum education staff will create and customize your tour to meet the needs of your group, grade level, curriculum needs, content, or special needs. The tours created for school groups meet the Arkansas Curriculum Frameworks.
Special Needs
Any individual or group that requires special assistance due to special needs are encouraged to call the museum ahead of time to arrange for any assistance required.
Parking
Located within MacArthur Park, the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History offers ample free parking. Visitors can park their vehicles in the parking lot to the east of the building, or along the circle drive in front of the museum coming off 9th Street. There is ample parking for buses, as well, along with easy access to and from 9th Street.
Accessibility
The MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History is in compliance with current ADA standards. A lift can be found on the east end of the front porch, which will allow access to the museum, along with accessible parking. If a wheelchair is needed upon visiting the museum, a museum staff member will be happy to provide you with one while you visit the museum.
