Hero Day

The Little Rock Fire Department will be hosting HERO Day for young men and women (Grades 6th -12th) at the Little Rock Fire Department Training Center. The purpose of the event is to give these youth an opportunity to learn about fire and emergency services careers and to interact with firefighters, paramedics, and dispatchers. This exposure to new ideas and activities gives young men and women an opportunity to consider non-traditional occupations. Stations will be set up to give these young men and women hands on experience in firefighting, EMS and emergency dispatching skills. This high adventure and career exploration day gives you a glimpse into the thrilling world of Fire and EMS responders.

There is a $20 registration fee payable on or before the day of the event. Cash, check, or money order will be accepted. Make checks payable to City of Little Rock / LR Fire Dept.  Payments can be made at the Central Fire Station located at 624 S. Chester Street.
