Special Election Ballot Questions
Little Rock voters will be asked to decide on two measures when they go to the polls on Tuesday, November 5.
Early voting starts on October 21. These two measures are part of a special election approved by the Little Rock Board of Directors to be placed on the ballot during the 2024 general election. Voters will find the special election measures at the very end of their general election ballot.
- A vote "for" the temporary, 5/8ths-cent sales tax means the City of Little Rock will receive an additional 5/8ths percent in sales tax revenues to pay for upgrades and projects identified as part of the Results For the Rock proposal.
- A vote "for" the permanent, 3/8ths-cent tax gives the City additional funding to support ongoing operations and maintenance needs, such as street repaving and public-safety vehicle replacement.

- FOR Adoption of an additional 3/8-Cent ($0.00375 cent) local Sales and Compensating Use Tax within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for which collections of the levy will commence on April 1, 2025, to be used for general operational purposes.
- AGAINST Adoption of an additional 3/8-Cent ($0.00375 cent) local Sales and Compensating Use Tax within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for which collections of the levy will commence on April 1, 2025, to be used for general operational purposes.
Question 2
- FOR Adoption of an additional 5/8-Cent ($0.00625) local Sales and Compensating Use Tax within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for which collections of levy will being on April 1, 2025, to be used for general capital purposes, and which shall expire on March 31, 2035.
- AGAINST Adoption of an additional 5/8-Cent ($0.00625) local Sales and Compensating Use Tax within the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, for which collections of levy will being on April 1, 2025, to be used for general capital purposes, and which shall expire on March 31, 2035.
