Amber D. Jackson, MPS
Chief Equity Officer

Amber serves on the Mayor's policy team and leads the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate DEI programming with city staff and residents. In her role, Jackson serves as an internal consultant to City departments on issues related to DEI and provides support on data initiatives, communications, and federal grants. Jackson also liaises with the Little Rock Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission.

Mariana Abarca 
Multicultural Liaison

Mariana Abarca is a vital bridge between Little Rock’s multicultural communities and City and community-based services. In her capacity as Multicultural Liaison, she plays a pivotal role in facilitating clear and effective communication. Mariana works closely with several City departments, aiding in translating essential information to increase access for our Spanish-speaking residents. Additionally, Mariana actively works to enhance the inclusivity and diversity of services offered. She also oversees the identification program and coordinates with consulates from various countries to bring their services to Little Rock’s residents.

Sarai Vega
Assistant Multicultural Liaison

Sarai facilitates the execution of plans, strategies, programs, and services addressing the diverse needs of multicultural communities. She raises awareness of multicultural initiatives, offers educational opportunities to enhance understanding and access to city resources, and serves an integral role in the day-to-day operations of the municipal identification card program.

Juannena Williams
Equity Program Manager

Juanenna is responsible for developing initiatives that promote equity within the City of Little Rock. She serves as the liaison to the Racial and Cultural Diversity Commission to achieve shared goals. She builds partnerships and fosters collaboration with community organizations while staying informed on diversity, equity, and inclusion trends to ensure program effectiveness.
